My step-sister, who I used to be very close but had not seen each other since my father funeral, called me to tell me that one of my step-brothers is really sick. Okay, so he had an work accident and his mom has decided for him that he should get married before he has his surgery. My brother is about fifty years old why would his mom plan his wedding? Know how I am involved in this is my question. Well, it turns out they call to ask for my support and to help them out with some financial help. WHAT??? A long,long time ago we use to be very close all of us brothers and sisters, but things change with time. Each went their way some did okay some did horrible choices. First, of all I don’t have the money to help. Second, what makes them think is okay to ask me for help when my brother was not there to help with my father’s funeral. I just cannot believe what is going on whith this poeple. Anyways, I said I could help with something not so expensive so I offer to rent chairs and tables. I hope that is enough?

Yesterday I had so much fun baking a quiche.  I never thought it was too easy to bake it.  Whenever I heart the word quiche I thought it was difficult to put together and too many ingredients needed.  My best friend gave me a recipe for a quiche yesterday and I just had to go home and try it.  Well, the result were great my family really liked it.  Because my family is big I baked four quiches, there was mererly andy left over.  This is all I needed to make the quiche.  I bought four all ready made pie crust (deep dish). I added sautee onions and garlic.  I used five eggs for each quiche and I used colby shredded cheese.  Oh I  almost forgot and frozen broccoli.  The house smelled so delicously good.  The best part is that I did not make a big mess.  After putting all the ingredients together I placed it in the oven for 45 minutes and that was all.  I loved it.

Today is only Monday, and I just cannot wait for the weekend.  I had Friday off, and I still feel like I can recover from sleep dreprivation. On Friday I had a tea which helps to relax you and makes you a fall asleep a little faster.  Although I had that tea, I woke up very early even before my baby was up.   On Saturday I tried to just chill out trying no to do much and tried another kind of tea.  I woke up Sunday at nine o’clock!!! But I really wanted to stay in bed for a longer period, but my baby was already up.  I sure a lot of you understand that when you have kids,kids come first no matter what.  So all day yesterday I wished I could go to bed, but if it wasn’t one thing it was another.  I finally hit the pillow at 10:30 p.m. and by 2 o’clock I was up!!! I could not sleep anymore I am so upset,as much as, I tried to close my eyes I just could not fall asleep??? I feel so tired today.

Don’t get me wrong I love to cook but it serious takes too much time. If I had more time in my hands to cook it would be nice, but when time is precious is not fun. I remember that before this recession we use to not touch the kitchen on the weekends. It was a different story back when we didn’t have to struggle to get by with little money. My friend who is Italian has given me some fast cooking tips. The only problem is that the food is mostly Italian and has pasta. My family likes that kind of food, but we also love to eat tortillas. I guess I will alternate them often so I don’t spend hours in the kitchen especially on the weekends.

Call me ignorant but I wonder if Publishers Clearing House is for real. About ten years I use to receive letters with my name on it an it would say you are a winner. Well, I never did receive anything but know the letters have returned. This time all the letter include some kind of advertisement, selling products offer on T.V. With the way things are I have a feeling a lot of people fall for that kind of stuff. The first letter I received announced me as a winner or a potential winner so I went ahead an brought some items. The stuff was cheesy and was expensive after all. After the first order I kept on getting more letters about me being a potential winner and really nothing has happen. I guess thats how they make money by selling stuff. I guess after all I am ignorant about stuff like that but I am sure I am not the only one that has follen for that trick.

This week was my Easter week off from school, and it just went really fast. I really would love to have more time off, but I must go back to school. I have so much homework still to do that when I have time to sit and study I just don’t know where to start. Then by the time I sit and figure out what is priority something seems to come up at the house. Is either my daughter that needs to be fed or my mother who needs medication. I have no room to complain at least I am alive and doing what I most love.
For the time being I will stop writting and continue with my homework….

My husband is a wonderful man but there are times when I can understand him. I guess everyone is allowed their grumpy time. It drives me nuts not knowing what to do to help him out. His job is one that has suffered a lot with the recession. He barely makes any money at all; I really want to cheer him up. Its just really hard to cheer him up when he is so negative about everthing. I have learned that the best thing I can do at this time is just listen and not say much. Its so hard to see him so depress and upset. My job is not any better, but at least I am working full time. The biggest problem he has is that he works on commission, and he is working too many hours for very little money. I really hope things get better soon as I am sure many of you feel the same way.

One of my friend is so funny,as long as, I have known her she is hard to understand. I am just glad I am not the husband who has to deal with all of her craziness??? Firs of all she wanted to make new friends and hang around the rich, upper class people, but she met a woman who is crazy. She will call her a lot of times and leaver her messages, I think she calls her more than her husband does. My friend has actually began to worry about her she does not think her actions are right. I just have to laugh because she does not know what to do about the whole situation. I told my friend that she might me in love with her more than just friends. My friend does not find it funny, and she is afraid of what this crazy woman could do.

I was wondering what to give my friend at school. She does so much for me from the minute I met her, she has tried to help me. Not only does she encourages me to continue but she reinforces my strenght at my learing abilities. Every other week she has material for me to study, and she takes time from her learning to help me out. I could see myself doing the same thing, but usually I do it with people who I have known for a while. The day I met her, she began the conversation, she asked me what I was studying, of course, it turn out we were studying the same classes. I have gone from not knowing much to learning a whole new language. When my friend sends me emails all I can do is thank her, but I wish I could do something else for her. She is my angel and is such a wonderful human being. I am very lucky to have met her.

Everyday I am amazed at how much I learn. Not only with school work but in general every day life stuff. As much as I work on computers I did not know how to connect two computers. Yes, it may sound stupid but I just had no idea. I do not mind asking people, but this time I was able to figure it out on my own. I am so proud of myself. This is the first time I was kind of stuck doing all the work of connecting the computers and I found it to be easy. My husband did not want to help me because he really wanted me to figure it out on my own so just in case there is another computer I would know what to do. When he did not want to help me I was kind of upset at him, but he did me a favor because I learned. I really like my computer, and the best part is that is completely mine I do not have to share!!!!
